MANAGER OF WORKS AND SERVICES
Ready for a 'tree change' to a thriving, safe and progressive community in the north-eastern Wheatbelt of Western Australia? As part of the growth and development of the region, the Shire is seeking to appoint an experienced and appropriately qualified Manager to lead and manage the Shire's capital works and infrastructure program.
The successful candidate will have a background in roads, assets and infrastructure construction and maintenance as well as having excellent contractor management skills. The appointee will also have well developed people leadership and development skills.
This role, if offered, is based on a negotiable, over-Award contract of up to five (5) years duration, with a remuneration package (Local Government Industry Award 2010 9/10) in the range of $111,000 to $133,000 (including base salary, generous superannuation, private use of a Shire vehicle, and housing). Relocation expenses will be negotiated with the successful applicant in accordance with Council policy.
Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to provide an up to date National Police Clearance and undertake a medical examination, both at Council's expense.
