Manager Waste & Reserves



Full Time Fixed Term Contract (up to five years)


Salary Package:

Salary of $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 depending on experience. Plus up to 14.5% Superannuation, Restricted private use vehicle and additional benefits.

  • Improve the Shire’s performance in strategically managing its Waste and Reserves assets.
  • Build high levels of trust and respect between all team members.
  • Look for opportunities to inspire, innovate and motivate. 
  • Champion sustainable practice, ensuring that it is embedded in the actions of each team.
  • Ensure that the Shire delivers a customer approach to waste and reserves works and improves the customer survey score. 
  • Manage corporate risk effectively, while optimising budget and resource allocations.
  • Be solution focused, have a ‘can do attitude’ and operate strategically.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Champion the Shire’s vision, values and mission statement.
  • Be a part of a strong team culture and can assist others within the Assets & Sustainable Development Directorate.
