An exciting position is now available for an experienced Leading Hand to join a dynamic Parks & Gardens team at the Town of Port Hedland. Situated on the beautiful West Australian coast the town offers the unique combination of professional career opportunity in a relaxed family friendly location.

Sitting in the Infrastructure Services Directorate, the role will effectively lead the teams responsible for the operational maintenance and upkeep of the town’s potable and non-potable irrigation systems. Reporting to the Coordinator Landscape & Irrigation.

Previous experience at a Team Leader or Leading Hand role and delivering maintenance programs for irrigation systems will be highly regarded. A safety first approach coupled with strong organizational and communication skills will enable the successful candidate to lead, coach and develop the team.
