About the Opportunity

At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our Community.  To help us achieve this we require an experienced Treasury Accountant with strong technical, communication, and financial transaction investigatory skills.  With your focus on quality, attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritise, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of Council’s cash management system, and investment and borrowings portfolios.  The Treasury Accountant role is an integral part of a team responsible for the reporting, maintenance and integrity of Council’s accounting function.

On a typical day our Treasury Accountant will:

• ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of Council’s receipting function and bank reconciliation;
• monitor Council’s cash flow and liaise with Council’s investment advisor to provide investment recommendations;
• maintain the integrity of Council’s treasury function through strong systems, processes and controls;
• focus on providing excellent customer service and being a trusted advisor to the organisation.

Remuneration

This is a full time, permanent role, with remuneration in the range of $66,445 - $74,766 per annum (depending on skills and experience), plus 9.5% superannuation working 35 hours per week.
