This is an exciting entry level opportunity to enter the Water and Wastewater Network team at Mackay Regional Council. Learn the fundamentals of a water industry worker including how to maintain and repair water and wastewater assets, install and repair hydrants and replace metering equipment. The Position The purpose of this position is to complete a Certificate II in Water Industry Operations and acquire skills, experience and knowledge via on the job training to support successful completion of a qualification. Throughout your 12-month Traineeship, you will learn and develop skills to become a qualified professional. As a Water Industry Worker Trainee, you will work alongside the Water & Waste Services team to support and assist in the delivery of its operational plans.
