Technical Officer

A fantastic opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Technical Officer - Quality to join our Business Services- ECI team. This role is based at our Paget Depot and is a permanent job-share opportunity.  

 

About the Role:

The position assists in the development, implementation and improvement of an Integrated Management System (IMS) for Councils ECI department and other internal stakeholders which may be serviced by ECI.

The position of Technical Officer is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Applicants should hold relevant qualification in Quality Assurance in relation to an integrated management system which complies with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001. As well as experience in design, conduct and report on regular scheduled audits and inspections of the workplace to identify compliance with system requirements in accordance with internal KPI’s.

In addition, applicants should have the ability to participate in planning, development, coordination and delivery of specific training and educational programmes as appropriate to system development and maintenance.

 

Key responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Support management, employees, and contractors on best practice in relation to an integrated management system which complies with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
  • Design, conduct and report on regular scheduled audits and inspections of the workplace to identify compliance with system requirements in accordance with internal KPI’s.
  • Maintain the Document Control System.
  • Participate in planning, development, coordination and delivery of specific training and educational programmes as appropriate to system development and maintenance.
