Title: Chief Technology & Operations Officer, Temporary Position (upto July 2021)

Salary Range: Competitive Salary Package based on skills and experiences

Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 270,000. Northern Beaches Council was created in 2016 through the three councils of Manly, Pittwater and Warringah coming together to deliver the highest quality services to the community. Exciting new infrastructure projects and community programs have quickly demonstrated the positive impact the new council is having.

The Role Purpose
The Chief Technology & Operations Officer provides strategic direction, leadership and management to ensure the council’s network, infrastructure and end user business are operating to a high-level of service performance and that operations processes and standards are applied effectively across all environments. 

The CTOO is responsible for the effective management of internal and external service providers with emphasis on customer satisfaction. As well as business operations, the CTOO will ensure the ongoing performance and continuous improvement of the Service Desk, Service Management functions and end-user technologies within Council, and provide advice to the Executive, Senior Managers and the Council.
