Griffith City Council

Griffith City Council serves the needs of approximately 25,000 residents and 400 businesses. The wide range of services provided by Council include domestic refuse collection, infrastructure (traffic, roads, drains, water and sewerage, street lighting, footpaths, land and buildings), parks, library services, planning assessment and environment protection.

Griffith City Council employs approximately 300 staff and is represented by 12 elected members (Councillors). Councillors have decision making powers regarding council business while Council staff ensure effective service implementation.
