Quantity Surveyor / Estimator / Contract Administrator

NCAMS is a market leader throughout remote Western Australia in the design, construction, maintenance and renovation of residential and commercial buildings. We have operations in Perth, Warburton (WA) and Alice Springs. 

NCAMS is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group, an ORIC rated Company.  

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor / Estimator / Contract Administrator to join our team based in our modern St Georges Terrace offices to start immediately.  

All candidates must be based in Perth with full rights to work. Working experience within the residential and commercial building industry in Australia is critical to the success of this role. Those who do not meet these requirements will not be considered. It is critical that candidates meet the criteria outlined in the position description (position purpose & key responsibility – general) to be considered for this role.

The successful applicant will have experience in measuring, preparing the take off, preparing material ordering lists from the estimate, administering the contract, ensuring compliance with the contract, managing variations and extensions of time.

To be successful in this role you will require at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced working environment. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline. The ability to work well under pressure and manage many and varied tasks are critical prerequisites for this role.

You must have initiative, excellent time management, communication skills, organisational skills, advanced computer skills, and an attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

Advanced computer skills and proficient knowledge of CRM databases, MS Office and Buildsoft software is required.  

Salary - $65,000 + 9.5% super + salary sacrifice + 5 weeks annual leave (after successfully completing 12 months)
