Operating from within the Utilities Department, the Utilities Coordinator will assist the Utilities Manager in the coordination of Council’s water and sewerage services in all communities throughout the Regional Council area by being the primary contact with operational staff. This includes meeting the statutory requirements for performance, safety and environmental management, and ensuring the customer service standards are achieved to a high standard.

You will need to be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of water and sewerage networks and processes. It is highly desirable that you have appropriate tertiary or advanced trade qualifications.
