The purpose of this role is to manage a team of high performing individuals that provide legal advice in the enforcement of contract provisions with registered training organisations. Managing a team of up to four staff the role is responsible for providing legal advice to executives, preparing correspondence, observing and interpreting court proceedings, providing options on enforcement of VET contract and liaising with legal service providers.
The role will also participate in and contribute to the oversight of contract and quality compliance issues of training providers by assisting with enforcement actions and preparing briefs and other correspondence. Engaging with and managing the transition f displaced students is also a respnsibility of the position.
It is highly preferable the individual holds legal qualifications so that they can attend court hearings and provide advice as required.
