Customer Service Officers

- 1 role at 3 days per week and 1 role at 2 days per week - 8:15am – 5pm
This exciting front-of-house role delivers professional multi-channel customer support to the community, Council staff, tenants and visitors at the Wangaratta Government Centre.
The role offers a diverse range of tasks including phone, reception and email enquiries, processing customer requests, reservations, payments and permits as well as assisting with inward and outward correspondence.The successful applicant will be an outstanding communicator with high level computer, reception, administrative and organisational skills who can relate to a diverse customer base to resolve enquiries at first point of contact.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst working in a busy and dynamic team environment is essential. Previous experience with revenue collection, cash management and till reconciliation is required.An understanding of local government issues and responsibilities as well as knowledge and experience in customer request management systems will be an advantageous.
Successful applicants will be required to job share the position.
