Operating from within the Economic Development Department, you will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders in order to finalise the Western Downs Planning Scheme for Council adoption and implementation.

Relocation Assistance to the value of $5000 may be available
You will need to hold a relevant tertiary qualification in a related field such as Regional and Urban Planning or Planning OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. It is also highly desirable for you to have demonstrated experience in the development of innovative and practical solutions in the development of planning schemes or planning scheme policy.
