As the Leading Hand for Natural Resource Management you will be responsible for implementation and delivery of maintenance and low risk capital activities, including onsite management and support of work crews, by role modelling a strong commitment to safety and systems. The Leading Hand is focused on delivering quality outcomes safely, in the most effective and efficient manner in line with customer expectations through an active and hands on approach.
This role will be a Waterways and Land Leading Hand and will be based out of the Brooklyn Pumping Station.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Natural Asset management practices
- Demonstrated ability to safely lead and manage field crews
- Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment to improve processes, and respond to various demands
- Proven communication and consultation skills.
Your ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required together with a trade or certificate qualification.
