Lead and manage the Engagement, Communications and Marketing team for the Economic and Industry Development Group. As Manager, you will lead the team to develop and implement a broad range of high quality engagement, communication and marketing services to ensure maximum impact across the Group’s three Divisions (Industry Sectors, Industry Development and Economic Policy and Research) in the delivery of economic development outcomes.

• Lead the development, implementation and sourcing of a suite of innovative and effective engagement, communication and marketing plans, services, tools and techniques across the Group which are informed by research and analysis of departmental and external trends and  support whole-of-government and the department's strategic priorities and business needs.

• Provide expert and contemporary engagement, communication and marketing advice and information to the Deputy Director-General and Senior Leaders within the Group as required on key issues impacting on delivery of the Group’s strategic objectives.

• Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with business areas, other agencies and private industry. 

• Manage the workloads, people, risks and deadlines of the team to ensure the provision of high quality engagement, communication and marketing services to the Group.

• Actively foster an outcome focused team environment and positive delivery culture, where team members enjoy coming to work, are appropriately supported, skilled and challenged, and understand the important contributions they make to the success of the Group.
