Health & Wellness Group Fitness Instructors
- Casual Positions
- Hourly Rate from $39.20 to $44.75 per hour, includes 25% casual loading, plus 9.5% superannuation
As a Group Fitness Instructor this position requires you to work as part of a team committed to the goals that actively fosters community participation and involvement.
To instruct participants/patrons in a class situation in a safe and controlled environment. Plan and provide structured, enjoyable classes for members and casual users ensuring that our programs and services meet and exceed customers expectations.
Key Selection Criteria
- Hold current certificates in, First Aid and CPR.
- Registration with Physical Activity Australia or Fitness Australia.
- Relevant group fitness qualifications (eg: Les Mills, Yoga, Aqua).
- Minimum Certificate III in Fitness or GEL (Group Exercise Leader).
- Experience working within a similar role in the fitness industry.
- Experience in teaching group fitness
- Ability to design and implement safe and effective exercise programs and instructing participants in correct exercise technique.
- Be proactive and motivate to succeed.
- Be committed to on-going personal and professional development to maintain industry knowledge and professional skills at the highest level.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor adherence to health and safety policies and procedures within a team environment.
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
