About the role:

The Communications and Community Engagement Officer is responsible for 'case managing' customer requests submitted by councillors, providing regular feedback and facilitating achievable outcomes. The Communications and Community Engagement Officer will also participate in meetings with councillors & community members, seeking to understand drivers behind requests for changes in infrastructure, as well as undertake communications with community & business operators where identified works may impact them.


About you:

As a key contact for traffic and transport enquiries, you will possess an impressive portfolio of experience in marketing, communication, stakeholder engagement and operational negotiations.

To succeed in this role, you will be a strong team player, with the ability to confidently and effectively engage with all members of the community and Council. You will also have demonstrated success in the delivery of marketing collateral and professional business correspondence.

Additionally, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications and experience ideally in communication, marketing or other relevant field.
