Environmental Health & Building Surveyor
Walgett Shire Council is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Building Surveyor to join the Environmental Services Department. The Role will be responsible for undertaking and assessing development, construction and activity applications, Inspections of buildings and other regulatory functions.
The successful applicant will possess a degree or a diploma in Building Surveying, eligibility for accreditation to undertake inspections class 1 and 10 buildings (Building Professionals Board), demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills, WHS white card and a class C drivers licence.
A vehicle for work purposes and subsidised housing are included with the position.
