About the position

Support the Coordinator Integrated Planning and Improvement and Manager of Integrated Planning, Risk and Governance in the coordination of a range of complex systems in relation to management of governance, business improvement, risk, integrated planning, internal audit, communications and policy management. This position will support the management of Council Business and Reporting and report to the Coordinator Integrated Planning and Improvement.

About you

This is a 12 month Parental Leave Term Contract. Council may give notice of the termination of your Term Contract prior to the expiration of the maximum term if there are material changes to the circumstances, such as the substantive holder of the position returning to work at an earlier date. This role has a salary range of $68,571 - $71,395 per annum based on demonstrated competencies, plus 9.5% superannuation. To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • Degree in an appropriate discipline (e.g. Communications, Public Administration, Business) or equivalent.
  • High level computer literacy with significant experience and confidence in the use data base and analytics
  • High level communication skills, written and interpersonal, analytical skills, numeracy and ability to assess complex reports.
  • Display a strategic understanding of issues and how key stakeholders affect Council undertakings.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in position description).
  • Demonstrated Developed key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in position description).
