Auckland Council is on a continued and significant transformation journey and as a result has a large Information Communications and Technology Services (ICT) capability. This presents a unique opportunity for an ICT professional to come and join us in this exciting complex and energized environment in a permanent role. The Field Support Analyst is responsible for providing predominately second line end user computing support and excellent customer service to users at all Council locations. There is a lessor component of 1st line resolution for customers at our drop-in stations. You are flexible to travel to any site covered by the Council to resolve customer issues, on an on-demand basis. The role is demanding with a strong emphasis on a high turnover of completion of incidents and requests
He kōrero mōu: About you
It is essential that you have 3-5 years of experience supporting personal computer and telecommunication equipment.
You will have a strong background in service desk and client facing desktop support. This will compliment your expertise in troubleshooting issues on desktops, laptops, mobile, audio-visual and thin-clients which is paramount for this position. An exposure to the following will contribute to the success of your role:
This role will involve coordination and liaison with all other EUC teams with an emphasis toward improving customer service, your excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong negotiation and diplomacy skills will also be heavily put into practice.
