The Role:

The Customer Service Officer works collaboratively within a team, delivering quality and responsive customer service across a range of Local Government services including frontline customer advice and processing services.

It will be important for you to be empathic, genuine and professional in addressing the concerns of the customers. Ensuring customer satisfaction is paramount for the success of this role. You will have access to in-house training and will be joining a high performing collaborative team.

You must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service centre including responding to face-to -face customer requests together with excellent phone manner and the ability to think laterally to source accurate information quickly and effectively
  • Demonstrated experience using various computer applications, including the use of EFTPOS devices along with handling financial transactions, including receipting, invoicing and daily balancing
  • Local Government experience will be highly regarded

The Rewards:

  • Weekly wage starting from $1,106.04
  • 9.5% superannuation
