The opportunity

 

Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a Corporate Planning Officer to join the Corporate Planning and Reporting Team.

 

This position will lead the development and delivery of corporate performance reporting projects and processes. This position will provide specialist advice to the Corporate Governance area and executive team on corporate performance reporting and is responsible for preparing Council’s Annual Report.

 

Responsibilities

  • Produce the Annual Report, this includes conducting research, collecting, analysing and evaluating data, and writing content for the report.
  • Leading and managing all corporate performance reporting requirements for the organisation;
  • Maintain and develop the corporate planning and reporting system (Pulse CPR software);
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of corporate planning and reporting systems i.e. Pulse CPR, Camms Interplan is desirable; and
  • Assist with the preparation and review of the Council Plan.

 

 

About you

 

  • A degree in social science, or a related field – research, business or project management or experience in a relevant position;
  • Advanced written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated research, conceptual and analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of project management principles; and
  • Demonstrated experience in or knowledge of corporate planning and performance reporting in local government.
