Community Facilities Planning Coordinator

  • Parental leave contract - to 31 December 2020
  • Flexible work hours (from 2 days - 5 days per week)
  • Salary $85,312 - $98,791 pa (full-time salary range)
  • 30 - 76 hours per fortnight
  • Up to 14.50% superannuation

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to cover a parental leave absence continuing the work of planning new community facilities in the City’s high growth areas. The most significant and exciting project is forward planning for the 40ha, multi-sport Armadale Regional Recreation Reserve.

The successful applicant is expected to have community facilities planning experience including experience in liaising and negotiating with government agencies, developers and external funding bodies.

As part of the Community Planning team this position works closely with other City departments to effectively plan for the sustainable provision of community buildings, sports and recreational nodes, and shared education/community facilities.

Depending on skills, experience and availability either a full time or part time contract may be offered.
