Warrnambool City Council is seeking an Environmental Health Officer to be actively involved in the operations and programs in the interest of public health.

The successful candidate will assist Council with the legislative requirements within the Acts and Regulations as delegated.

• Assessment and compliance of registered premises in accordance with the Food Act 1984, Public Health & Wellbeing Act 2008, Residential Tenancies Act 1997, Tobacco Act 1987, Environment Protection Act 1970, and Council Policy.
• ​Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental health programs.
• Tertiary qualification in Health Science (Public and Environmental Health) or equivalent.

Salary Range: $76,386 to $83,085 p.a
