Customer and Financial Services Manager
Hourly Rate $62.02
Bland Shire Council is currently seeking a Customer and Financial Services Manager to provide professional financial advice to Council as well as promoting excellent customer service to ensure organisational awareness and currency of financial and customer service practices and policies.
In this role you will ensure all financial accounting tasks, including compilation of financial statements, grant acquittals, are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
An attractive salary package will be negotiated with the successful applicant including housing allowance and vehicle lease back.
To be successful in this position, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an accounting or commerce field and/or significant experience in Local Government financial management.
- Current Class “C” drivers’ license
- Experience in the use of computerised Financial Information Systems (eg. TechOne)
- Demonstrated capacity to work with and deliver agreed outcomes on behalf of internal and external customers
- Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable:
- Experience in senior management in Local Government
- Eligibility for professional membership of CPA
