Family, Education and Community Services is responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality child care services and educational programs in the Campbelltown local government area.
We provide care to children aged 0-12 years and operate according to Early Childhood Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Standards and Framework.
About the role:
We are currently seeking Child Care Trainees who will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of activities for children in care, interacting with children in a caring and positive way. Successful applicants will be required to complete the components of their studies, as well as on the job training.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Previously completed Child Care related subjects/studies.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a cooperative team member.
- A commitment to a customer focussed service.
- Enjoy engaging with children.
- Current Class C drivers licence.
- Commitment to role modelling our values of: Respect, Integrity, Optimism, Trust and Teamwork.

Applicants must be a minimum age of 18 years and must not already possess a Certificate II or higher qualification in any field in order to apply.
Salary is in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. A Working with Children Check number will be required for this position.
