Manager Information Technology



The role: 
This position is responsible for providing the leadership, direction and management of the Information Technology Department to ensure the achievement of outcomes in line with organisational strategies, objectives, vision and values.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional who has the ability to work and lead a department in a complex and multiple service line environment. The successful candidate will be an outstanding leader with a track record of building high performing teams that are aligned, engaged and collaborative. To be successful in this position you will need to have an advanced understanding of user needs and extensive knowledge of IT trends, issues and opportunities. The package: Commencing salary circa $147,000 p.a. (Grade 15) plus superannuation. Vehicle arrangements will also be discussed with the successful candidate. 

Location: This position will be based in Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent Full Time.
