Mitchell Shire Council is one of Victoria's fastest growing municipalities on Melbourne's northern growth corridor. Mitchell Shire Council is seeking enthusiastic and professional applicants to join our team as Gym and Group Fitness instructors to work on a casual basis at our two leisure centres in Kilmore and Seymour.
We are seeking Gym Instructors who can design and deliver innovative and effective exercise programs including personal training and group fitness classes, ensuring the safety of members at all times. Your knowledge and passion will contribute to the evaluation, design and delivery of high quality fitness programs and enhance member engagement.
We are also seeking Group Fitness Instructors with vibrant and energetic personalities. This role is responsible for the delivery of high quality, energetic group fitness classes.
The successful applicant will hold Certificates 3 and 4 in Fitness, professional registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia, Level Two First Aid and CPR. Additional group fitness specific qualifications such as Spin, Body Pump, MetaFit, Boxing, Pilates and Aqua Aerobics are desirable but not essential.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain an employee Working with Children Check and undertake a National Police Check prior to commencement.
