Ever wanted to work in a cafe right by the water?


Splash Palace is one of New Zealand's premier aquatic facilities and has a strong team approach to ensure the safety, wellbeing and fun of its visitors. With around 1400 visitors' coming through the door each day Splash Palace is a busy place!


At Liquid Cafe, located at Splash Palace, we're looking for a Cafe Assistant to help ensure our guests' visits are memorable and keep them coming back for more.


You will have an exceptional customer service ethic, first class presentation and the ability to multitask and work under pressure. A current Food Handlers Certificate and First Aid Certificate are desirable.


You will also be responsible for the day to day provision of café services including food and beverage preparation. If you are a qualified Barista great, if not, you just need to know how to make GREAT coffee!


As Liquid Cafe is open 7 days weekly, Monday to Friday 6.30am to 7.00pm and Saturday/Sunday 8.30am to 4.00pm, you will be happy to work weekends and evenings, full availability would be an advantage.


Invercargill City Council is committed to the wellbeing and protection of children, the elderly and vulnerable adults. As a component of this role involves interaction with one or more of the above groups, as part of the assessment of candidates, we will require Police Vetting and a Pre-employment Alcohol and Drug Screening to ensure we are providing a safe environment for our customers and members of the public.
