The Role

Reporting to the Manager City Design & Economic Development, you will be responsible for acting as a contact point for local business stake-holders, with a view to coordinating a range of project/place management initiatives. The position will have a key priority of successfully managing the relationships with business stakeholders in the Town Centres and Villages of Hawkesbury.

About You

We are looking for a person who is motivated and talented and enjoys working with the business community. You must have a diverse range of place/project management experience with the ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities.

If you can do all of this whilst having fun, keeping various stakeholders happy and working in a high volume and dynamic environment, then we'd like to hear from you.

You must have:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public affairs, advertising or other related discipline
  • At least twelve months’ experience within place-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability with maintaining and building business relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing public domain activation projects, meet deadlines and balance competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
