As a valued member of the Children's Services team, you will have a thorough knowledge of the needs of young children, the community, families and the principals of early childhood education, and a demonstrated ability to embed the National Quality Standards into programming and a commitment to best practice.
Our Early Childhood Educators have the ability to implement or support a developmentally appropriate program for 3-5 year old children. The successful applicant will have a Certificate III in Early Childhood, supported by well developed written and communication skills, a sound knowledge of relevant Children’s Services Legislation, Policy and Frameworks, and a thorough knowledge of appropriate emergency procedures. Your teamwork and interpersonal skills will allow you to provide relief at our centres, working under direction from the Teacher, with minimal disruption to families and children.
Educators must have a minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood qualification, as approved by ACECQA and recognised under the National Law.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain an employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement. (This is now mandatory for ALL employees joining Council to meet Child Safe Standards of our Organisation)
