Parks Worker - Horticulture

  • $56,670 - $61,578 (Incl. Industry Allowance) + Super

We have an exciting opportunity for a Parks Worker to join our extensive horticulture team. In this role you will undertake a range of horticultural maintenance works to ensure our parks, gardens and grounds are presented to the highest standard. At times this role will also involve horticultural maintenance within the City’s streetscapes and open spaces.

You will possess a trade certificate or equivalent in Horticulture or knowledge and skills gained through on the job training applicable to horticulture and associated works. You will have a sound knowledge of pruning practices, plant and disease identification and skills in the safe and proper use of chemicals. In addition you will be competent with the use of a range of horticulture equipment.

A pre-employment medical and a current driver’s licence are mandatory for this position.
