Universal Maternal Child Health Services Coordinator

  • Full Time, Ongoing (consideration for part time 0.8 negotiable)
  • Salary Range $115,404 + Super

    In this newly created position, you will strategically manage and facilitate the delivery of a client focused, integrated and responsive Maternal & Child Health (MCH) program that will educate and empower parents to maximise the health and wellbeing of young children from 0 – 6 years.

    You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to MCH program guidelines, City of Greater Bendigo policy and procedure, Council plans, funding and service agreements and relevant legislation and initiatives and ensuring the clinical standards of the Universal team through clinical governance and supervision.

    You will lead and manage culture, best practice staff training and staff safety and wellbeing, actively supervise direct reports through goal setting regular meetings and also be responsible for a client caseload.

    You will have extensive experience as an MCH Nurse, with an accredited post-graduate qualification in MCH nursing and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as both as Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with experience in providing clinical governance and supervision.

    Excellent skills in strategic planning and ensuring continuous improvement of services that support strong client outcomes, demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support staff, strong ability to lead and facilitate clinical governance and supervision and high levels of communication and networking skills are essential for this varied and challenging role.
