Start 2020 in a brand new position supporting the development, promotion and delivery of the Active Stonnington Strategy. Within our Active Communities Department, you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of the strategy, establishing key stakeholder relationships, designing and coordinating a marketing plan and carrying out research and data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and services delivered by Council.


Strong knowledge and understanding of current issues facing communities relating to an active lifestyle is essential to be considered for this position, along with a drive and passion for forging strong community and stakeholder relationships. You will facilitate internal and external working groups aimed at developing and promoting opportunities for active lifestyles across all segments of the Stonnington community.


Importantly, we’re looking for a candidate with knowledge of various marketing and promotional techniques, and experience in effectively promoting a range of services to engage with a diverse community. Qualifications in health promotion, marketing or communications will be highly regarded.


Although this position is full time, we are willing to consider flexible working arrangements.
