Casual Childcare Worker (Diploma)

  • Casual positions available in our 6 day care centres 
  • Salary from $28.90 - $33.48 per hour plus 25% loading and 9.5% superannuation

This position requires an individual who genuinely goes above and beyond in their role as a quality educator and carer to young children. The successful candidate will provide a friendly, secure and stimulating learning environment for all children attending the Centre and to develop and implement programs which meet the developmental, cultural and additional needs of children in care. In addition you will need to support and provide information to parents regarding the needs and developmental progress of their child(ren) and provide specialist information and advice in regard to particular areas of concern as requested or required by parents.

Key Skills

  • Previous experience working with children 0-5 years of age, in a Childcare Centre setting.
  • Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent.
  • Sound oral communication skills and ability to relate well to children, parents, staff, volunteers and the community.
