Casual Early Childhood Teacher

  • Casual positions available in our 6 day care centres 
  • Salary from $39.22 - $45.45 per hour plus 25% loading and 9.5% superannuation

Georges River Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic and busy Childcare Centre Team.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you are expected to be an active team member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with children at the services, developing strong relationships that support and partner with families and implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisation at all times. They will also work with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations.

Key Skills

  • Demonstrated experience working with groups of children aged 0-5 years in a Childcare Centre setting (or similar)
  • Ability to facilitating the implementation of contemporary, research based practices at the service
  • Food Handling and Preparation Training or Certification.
