Do you have a passion for Procurement? In this position you will be responsible for defining, delivering and embedding the strategy for Council’s procurement activities, supporting and partnering across all levels of Council operations to ensure effective, compliant and efficient procurement practices. 

You will have strong experience in procurement roles and have a collaborative mindset and ability to develop trusting advisory relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.  You will bring an innovative approach to procurement in Local Government and be able to drive improvements to supply category management across the organisation.

You will get experience in a diverse range of projects, with Council undertaking significant capital works programs now and into the future.  

This position is based in Wangaratta – assessed by CoreLogic as the top tree-change destination in Victoria – thanks to its proximity to gourmet food, world-class wineries, stunning scenery and fabulous outdoor activities. You won’t find a traffic jam in sight.
