The Opportunity

This opportunity will see establishing well-defined interfaces for Council systems to exchange data utilising Dell Boomi. You will take responsibility for configuring / implementing the defined interfaces to the external systems, in addition to providing support to Council’s business areas and vendors during the building / configuration and testing phase.

Responsibilities

• Defining and documenting the required interfaces for key projects
• Configuring the Dell Boomi product to connect it to required internal and external systems
• Liaising with business areas and vendors to understand the requirements that will drive the interface definition
• Providing knowledge handover to Information Services department staff
• Assisting and supporting stakeholders during the testing phase

About You

To be suitable for this position, you will possess:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in information systems, or similar, with demonstrated commercial experience
• High level interpersonal and communications skills
• Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of multi-year software implementation projects
• Proven business and technical expertise in business analysis of IT applications
• Ability to understand complex contemporary technical environments and present them in common language to facilitate the decision-making process.
