About the Organisation

The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more.  

About the Role

This role will see the Microsoft BI Stack Developer responsible for SQL DB administration, Dimensional Data Modelling and Data Warehouse development, Data Visualization, and maintenance of existing systems ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. You will also help solve all servers and report issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future. 

Skills and Experience

  • Understanding and experience in all stages of BI development projects work to include requirements, technical design, implementation, testing and deployment.
  • Proficient in implementation methodologies and have in-depth experience with MS BI Stack including SSIS, T-SQL, DAX and PowerBI.
