Seeking a change in 2020? At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our Community. To help us achieve this we require an experienced Procurement and Contracts Officer to support some of our major projects in the heart of our community.

If you possess a solid understanding of Contracting and Procurement principals, can build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, and facilitate procurement activities to achieve advantageous benefits for Council whilst upholding probity, this is a great opportunity for you.On a typical day our Procurement and Contracts Officer will:

  • Work with stakeholders to provide advice and assist in all aspects of the tendering and procurement processes;
  • Ensure compliance with Council’s Procurement Policy, probity, fairness and integrity in all procurement procedures;
  • Develop procurement and contracts documentation;
  • Lead the evaluation panel and present recommendations to the business unit;
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure contract compliance;
  • Manage contracts for goods and services based contracts.

Remuneration

This is a full time, temporary role, with remuneration starting at $71,921 per annum, plus 9.5% superannuation. The role is 35 hour a week, with access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy.
