Enterprise Risk Manager



  • Permanent Full Time - 35 hours per week + flexi-time
  • Total Remuneration Package $117,387.00 - $144,658.00 per annum
  • Located at the Administration Building in Raymond Terrace


Council is seeking a dynamic and engaging leader with strong risk management expertise to lead the Enterprise Risk Team within the Governance Section.


In this role you will manage the delivery of Council's Integrated Corporate Risk Management Framework, providing strategic expertise to develop Council's risk culture with the support of a multi-disciplinary team.  You will also manage the audit function, incorporating the coordination of the Audit Committee, contract management of the internal audit contract and coordination of the internal audit program and leadership.


What you need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in risk management and insurance
  • Demonstrated experience in developing an Integrated Risk Management framework.
  • Take responsibility for own actions, commit to safety, and act in line with legislation and policy.
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade and gain commitment from others, and resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Demonstrated ability to think, analyse and consider the broader context to develop practical solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate staff, develop capability and potential in others.


Total Remuneration Package Range: $117,387.00 - $144,658.00 (includes 9.5% superannuation + motor vehicle allowance + retention allowance) + flexi-time
