The Trainee Water & Wastewater Operator is responsible in assisting with the day to day running of Council’s water and wastewater treatment plants. We're looking for a driven, friendly, passionate and confident individual, with a can-do attitude to join our team as a Trainee. You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of areas, while being fully supported throughout your study.
To be successful you will have:
- A genuine interest in working within the Water and Wastewater;
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability;
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams;
- An understanding Workplace Health and Safety;
- Blue/White Card;
- A current C Class Australian Drivers Licence will be highly regarded;
For this position we offer:
- Nominally 76 hours per fortnight;
- 5 weeks annual leave at 17.5% loading pro-rata;
- 12% super (in accordance with policy);
- Rostered days off (RDO) in accordance with Council policy;
- 24 months Traineeship.
