About the role:
 
We are seeking a Specialist - Asset Performance to investigate, analyse, present and provide advice on the performance and risk of a wide portfolio of assets across the water, wastewater and drainage networks.
 
You will contribute to the effective and efficient collection, investigation, monitoring, analysis and reporting of asset and network performance and risk to internal and external stakeholders. Performance and risk analysis and reporting will be through various written and data formats including geospatial analysis and presentation. Based in our Leederville office, this role will be reporting to the Manager Asset Performance (Metro).
 
What the role will offer:
  • Lead system investigations and data analysis to determine root cause of systemic asset and network risk and performance issues and provide input to strategy, planning and operational solutions
  • Lead and/or coordinate and deliver asset and network monitoring programs to support demand, capacity, utilisation, asset management and energy efficiency performance and risk assessments
  • Compile, publish and present asset and network performance reporting with a focus on geospatial presentation for the relevant asset portfolio to meet business level of service and compliance requirements
  • Lead and/or support the management of project teams to deliver section or business unit outcomes
  • Provide technical assistance in geospatial analysis and reporting; and corporate systems data
  • Coordinate and support asset and network data and information improvement initiatives
Key skills and experience: 
  • Degree level qualification or post-secondary qualification plus experience in relevant discipline
  • Significant experience in data analytics and visualisation techniques in presentation and asset management and asset performance investigations, analysis and reporting
  • Considerable and proven experience in problem solving, root cause analysis and issues resolution
  • Demonstrated investigative, analytical and report writing and presentation skills
