Expression of Interest – Project Manager

The purpose of this expression of interest is to build a talent pipeline for emerging projects within the organisation. Project Managers will be accountable for delivering small to medium projects either standalone or part of a larger program.

About the role

The project manager in this role will ensure the project is delivered in accordance with Sydney Water’s project management delivery framework (standards and processes). This will also include:

• Managing projects to agreed objectives, safety, quality and environmental requirements, timeframes, scope, manage project risks and realise agreed deliverables.
• Coaching and mentoring business leads and other project team members to improve the understanding of project management as a critical capability. 

About you

A project manager will ensure projects are consistently delivered to a high standard utilising the portfolio and capital management processes. It is important that you have:

• Minimum degree qualification in a Business or Professional Discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience and knowledge of project and change management principles, methodologies and tools.
• Minimum 2 years’ proven delivery of small to medium sized projects.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate forums and workshops with senior management participation to achieve required outcomes.
