About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced records management specialist to undertake electronic document activities for Council in this exciting permanent, full-time opportunity.


You will assist the Team Leader EDM Systems through the provision of system maintenance, support for implementation and system upgrades, training users, telephone and email support, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of business process, practice and systems.


Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Certificate IV in Records Management and/or Training and Assessment
  • High level computer literacy and ability to use a range of software products
  • Minimum 4 years work experience in records management
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Records Management business rules, procedures, practices and policy
  • Demonstrated experience in the support of end users in the use of recordkeeping systems.


Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

  • A competitive salary range of $1,153.50 - $1,292.00 (Grade 7) per week will be offered based on skills, qualifications and experience
  • 35 hour working week
