The Role

We are looking for motivated and conscientious Pool Superintendents to oversee the management and day to day operations of our swimming pools. Pool Superintendents are directly responsible for ensuring a high-level public safety and pool patron enjoyment along with direct supervision of the pool decks and management of ongoing maintenance and operations of plant and equipment.


You will be a dedicated and values driven leader, have a wealth of experience in public swimming pool operations and possess a strong customer focus. You will be a team player who can foster a culture that values all team members by recognising and encouraging individual strengths, and will drive innovation to improve service and productivity.


You may be required to work on a 7 day rotating roster between the hours of 5am – 10pm at any of Council’s swimming pools.


Under Part 2, Section 6 of the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012, this position has been designated as requiring a paid NSW Working With Children Check. Applicants are required to provide a NSW Working with Children Check application/clearance reference number to their application.


Suitable candidates may be placed on an eligibility list for future opportunities, which may include part-time or temporary relief list roles.
