TEAM LEADER - ROADS MAINTENANCE



The Roads Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for the supervision and organisation of various road maintenance crews to ensure their safe and efficient operation and to maximise their output in order to meet Council’s routine maintenance program requirements.  


The Position:

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have broad experience in the areas of road construction and/or maintenance including the demonstrated ability to successfully supervise staff and contractors
  • Possess sound computer skills combined with effective oral and written communication skills
  • Hold a general construction induction ‘white’ card
  • Be availability to camp out of town throughout the Shire during the week and be available to work extended hours, including weekends


This full-time position has been classified as a Band 2, Level 2 ($30.57 - $35.39 per hour) plus applicable allowances and superannuation in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award, working a 9-day fortnight, 38 hours a week.
