This role is based in our Wallan office, and brings the opportunity to be a part of the team that helps to guide the development of a huge growth period for our Shire. This role is responsible for facilitating the assessment of planning permit applications, both simple and complex, and providing a strong customer focus in the delivery of the Statutory Planning functions of Council.
To be successful in this role you will have a tertiary qualification in planning or a related discipline, with a positive attitude, and a desire to help shape the future of the Mitchell Shire region.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain an employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement. (This is now mandatory for ALL employees joining Council to meet Child Safe Standards of our Organisation)
