Local Laws Officer (Parking)
Our Safe and Healthy Environments team is currently looking for someone with excellent negotiation and communication skills to play a key role in parking management for the City of Greater Bendigo. This role undertakes a broad range of duties and is responsible for parking supervision of restricted parking areas within Greater Bendigo. This includes attending to residential parking issues, issuing parking infringement notices, investigating abandoned vehicles and community consultation.
To succeed in this role you will need to have a strong commitment to providing high level customer service and enjoy being part of a great team. You will also need strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. You must also have the ability to understand, interpret and apply codes/regulations in an impartial and objective manner.
Appointment to this position is subject to a pre-employment medical, satisfactory police record check and working with children check.
