Manager Human Resources
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Manager Human Resources will plan, lead and motivate the Human Resources section to ensure timely and efficient services are delivered to Council's internal and external customers. We are seeking a candidate with strategic leadership and who is adept in ensuring that Human Resource services are delivered in accordance with the strategic, operational and corporate business plans.

About You
Our ideal candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in a human resources discipline at Diploma level or above and have previous relevant work experience in human resources at a senior level.
You will be able to demonstrate experience in managing workers compensation/recover at work programs and have a working knowledge and understanding of role and responsibilities under the WHS Act 2011.
Strong resolution, negotiating and influencing skills coupled with high level organisational skills are qualities that will assist with your success in this role.

In return for your hard work and dedication, Council is offering a competitive remuneration package circa $100,700 - $113,000 + superannuation (and dependent upon skills, qualifications and experience).

About Uralla Shire Council
Uralla Shire Council is a large and diverse organisation employing over 160 staff and is responsible for assets in excess of $300 million, 32 different service areas and an annual budget of approximately $20 million.
The Uralla Shire local government area covers an area approximately 3,229 square kilometres and is home to a permanent resident population of around 6,048 people. The main township is Uralla, which is located 22 kilometres south of Armidale and 89 kilometres north of Tamworth on the New England Highway.
